June 2007 - O'Dell Corporation is now 100% Green Power

The O'Dell Corporation has become Laurens Electric Cooperative's first 100% Green Power Partner. In conjunction with LEC, the Electric Cooperatives of South Carolina, and Santee Cooper, the co-op's chief power supplier, the O'Dell factory site in Ware Shoals, South Carolina is now using energy generated solely from renewable sources, like bio-gas and solar power.

The Green Power program allows consumers to purchase blocks of renewable energy, with the profits being used to fund additional green power projects. The O'Dell Corporation encourages all companies to take a new look at green power to supply their own needs.
