Gyms take a beating in any education facility.  Especially after ball games and events.   You will want to ensure the dirt and debris brought in doesn't damage your gym floors by removing it immediately.  It is recommended to use a push broom to remove all large debris items and a majority of the dirt and then follow up with a dust mop.
